Sharing Mugunghwa Saplings

As part of the “Mugunghwa (rose of Sharon, the national flower of Korea) Sapling Sharing Event,” sponsored by Dong-A Ilbo and held in front of the Donga Media Center in Sejongno, Jongno-gu, Seoul on April 4, singer Ivy (right) hands out saplings. Members of the Korea Geunuhoe (President Lee Hee-ja), a women’s group organized in 1927, and a number of volunteers also participated in the event. On April 5, comedian Jeong Jong-cheol (11:00 a.m.) and entertainer Park Gyeong-lim (12:00 p.m.) will participate in handing out saplings.
