First Snow in Seoul

On November 6, a farmer in the “first village under the sky,” Hwenggye-ri, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon is busy turning over the parsley and removing the vinyl to set up the dried fish tents. On November 7, ipdong or the beginning of the winter by the lunar calendar, the temperature in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do is expected to drop below zero, with a one centimeter of snow expected for Seoul. The meteorological office forecasted, “Strong winds and a dramatic decrease in the temperature for November 7, the coldest day we’ve had yet.”
