Groundbreaking Ceremony of Gaesung Industrial Complex

Attended by South and North Korean officials, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Gaesung Industrial Complex was held at Bongdong-ri, Gaesung City in North Korea on June 30. The Korea Land Corporation and Hyundai Asan, an organizer and a constructor of the project, plan to build an industrial complex sprawling some 1 million pyeong by 2007.
