Analogous Case of Human form of ``Mad Cow`` Disease Found in Japan

A patient likely affected by the human form of `mad cow` disease was found in Japan, reported the Kyoto press yesterday.

A teenager patient who was hospitalized due to suspicious symptoms last summer at Tokyo Hospital is showing analogous symptoms to the human form of `mad cow` disease such as defect of memory, dementia, and spasm. It will take about three months to confirm if she has contracted the human form of `mad cow` disease.

Meanwhile, the Japanese Health Ministry began testing for mad cow disease among all cows to be processed for food.
