Cell-Phone with Colored Screen!

The screen of cell phone is changing from monotone to color. Along with the change of screen color, contents of the cell phone are also expected to vary.

Both Samsung and LG introduced cell-phone with colored screen at the EXPO COMM KOREA 2001 (KOEX, Samsung Dong, Kang-nam, Seoul) on 10th. Cell-phone with colored screen will be on sale at the end of this month and will cost about 60,000 won.

Since Samsung’s colored screen cell-phone has wireless data transmission (144Kbps) capacity, video order services, such as movie screening, is possible. Samsung plans to introduce products on distribution within this month and soon after exhibit full color TFT-LCD Terminal.

LG Electronics’ ‘cyber color-folder’ with full color function will be on sale for the public. LG announced that ‘Individual PCS’ would be out on 15th and would begin to sell the products at the end of this month.
