Kang Jung-ho, a South Korean player at the Pittsburgh Pirates of the U.S. Major League Baseball, played his fourth game of this season in which he had three hits.

In a home game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Wednesday, local time, he played as the third baseman and the fifth hitter, hitting three hits in four at-bats and raising his hitting average from .266 to .280. It was Kang`s first multi-hit game in 15 days and first three-hit game in 22 days, showing that he had been in a minor slump during the tour in the West.

Kang produced the hits from change-ups in the fourth and sixth innings. Previously, he had only two hits in 13 at-bats when he hit change-ups. The improved performance against change-ups indicates that he is getting accustomed to Major League pitchers` change-ups.
