The roar of cheers comes from participants jumping into icy-cold sea water Sunday morning in the 26th Polar Bear Swimming Competition held at Haeundae Beach in Busan. Attracting some 2,000 people this year, the event was selected one of the world’s 10 most exotic events by the BBC of the U.K.
