Lotus Lanterns Say, ‘Go, Korea!’

In the run-up to the Buddha’s 2,553rd birthday, Buddhist staff hang lotus lanterns forming the phrase "Go Korea!" in Korean at Jogye Temple in downtown Seoul yesterday. As part of the annual lotus lantern festival to commemorate the Buddha’s birthday, Korea`s largest Buddhist order of Jogye created the piece of work to wish for Korea to overcome the economic crisis and for Koreans to be in harmony with each another.
