Plane Slide

On December 8, Southwest Airlines’ Boeing 737 passenger jet from Baltimore was trying to land at Midway International Airport in Chicago in heavy snow, but slid off the runway. The plane crashed through the southwestern boundary fence and onto a road, hitting vehicles on it. A 6-year old boy in a vehicle was killed and 11 others were injured. The accident occurred when the front wheel of the plane fell off.
