I will do my best to represent Korean soccer.
Park Ji-sung, go go!
Park Ji-sung (24), the first-ever Korean to sign with Manchester United of the England Premier League, met with Korea Football Association (KFA) president Chung Mong-joon on July 4 and showed his determination to do his best with Korean soccers reputation in his shoulders.
President Chung, who met with Park at his KFA office, encouraged him, It is so good that we should hold a party. It is the best thing to happen to Korean soccer.
In response Park answered, I will do my best in staking Koreas soccer reputation. President Chung continued, Ji-sungs role is big. If you have to scold younger players on the national soccer team, you should scold them harshly. He added, The Korean people should encourage him so he can play well in England, raising his hands and shouting, Park Ji-sung, go go!
President Chung also gave novelist Kim Jeong-sans novel Samhanji to Park, saying, Although you will be busy training, I want to give you this book that will help you learn the history of Koreas three kingdoms period.
Park will depart to Britain sometime this week as soon as he gets his British working visa.
