White House National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley said on May 15 that if North Korea conducts a nuclear test, it could be North Korea’s challenge, and the countries participating in the six-way talks have to seriously discuss how they will respond.

On “Fox News Sunday,” Hadley stated the above mentioned matter, “The U.S. has found some evidence which shows that North Korea is preparing a nuclear experiment, and the U.S. has discussed it with our allies.”

Regarding a “countermeasure,” Hadley noted that the Japanese government raised an issue of brining up the North’s nuclear program to the U.N. Security Council, which suggests that a plan to present the issue of North Korea’s nuclear test before the U.N. Security Council is under review.
