The second special investigation office (chief prosecutor Cha Dong-Min) of the Seoul District Prosecutor`s Office is urging an early appearance of CEO of alias C construction company Hwang In-don, a brother-in-law of the third son Hong-Gul of the president, through a new defense lawyer since Hwang did not follow a summoning for reasons of replacing his defense lawyer on April 29.

A related person in the prosecution said, `Not only the prosecution informed Hwang to appear before the prosecution through his new defense lawyer, but also the prosecution is trying directly to contact Hwang.`

The prosecution has a plan to inquire Hwang about the circumstance of relaying money as an errand of Choi Kyu-Sun, and also whether Hwang managed 13 thousand stocks under the names of his company`s employees.

Additionally, the prosecution is going to probe whether the actual user of the office of N building in Kangnam, Seoul, which Hwang has rented from S constructed, was Hong-Gul

The prosecution is analyzing TPI shares related record and recorded tapes seized from the safe lending locker of C bank, but so far failed to find some evidence to show Mr. Choi`s lobbies on political and governmental circles.

The prosecution will re-summon CEO of TPI Song Jae-Bin in the morning of April 30 to inquire him about the alleged lobbying of sports lottery operator selection.

In relation to this, the prosecution is investigating on what kind of activities Hong-Gul engaged in the period of November 14 to 27 in 2000, during which Hong-Gul stayed in the country and the process of selecting a sports lottery operator was well under way, and is going to summon sooner than later related persons of the National Sports Promotion Foundation at the time of operator selection.
