Korean to sit on Yugoslav war crimes court

Kwon O-Gon, senior high court judge in Taegu, was chosen to sit on the 14-member International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). He said on Thursday that his election to the international panel owed to Korea`s rising stature and the positive activities of Korean diplomats abroad.
