Lee Bong-Joo finishes 2nd in Fukuoka Int`l Marathon

Lee Bong-Joo, 30, of Samsung Electronics grimaces as he crosses the finish line at the second Fukuoka International Marathon. A gasping Lee looked tired but said he was satisfied with his performance.

Perhaps still feeling the effects of competing in the Sydney Olympics only two months ago, Lee failed to in his bid to take first place, instead finishing a strong second in 2 hours, 9 minutes and 4 seconds. The second-place finish proved Lee is still in good shape and holds the promise that he will do even better in his next competition.
