Slugger tries pitching

Busan Lotte Giants slugger Lee Dae-ho, who graduated from Gyeongnam High School, pitches against rival Busan High School at Busan Sajik Stadium Sunday. Lee was designated a pitcher by Lotte in 2001 but was soon converted into a slugger. Taking the mound in the fifth inning with an 8-3 lead, he threw pitches of more than 130 kilometers per hour. He gave up no hits in the fifth but was replaced after allowing two hits in the sixth. In one and a third innings, Lee struck out two and allowed six hits and three runs. The cleanup hitter went 2-3 at the plate but Busan High School rallied to win, 10-9.
