Figure skating superstar Kim Yu-na will perform in Korea in Seoul, her first show in Korea in 10 months.

Kim’s management agency All That Sports said Thursday that Kim along with other world-class figure skaters will perform at the three-day KCC Switzen Festa on Ice 2011 from May 6 at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul.

Kim will perform her new short program “Giselle” that she will use at this year`s ISU World Figure Skating Championships in Tokyo at the end of the month. Kim has chosen "Giselle" as her new short program’s theme song and practiced to the music.

In free skating, she prepared “Hommage to Korea,” an arrangement of traditional Korean music, but she will not perform to this in May. She will instead unveil a new program never before seen in public.

A source at All That Sports said, “Kim herself has chosen the program for the May ice show. We`re sorry for not showing `Hommage to Korea` but this will be unveiled next time.”

More information such as distributors and prices of the tickets, names of the figure skaters to perform at the show, and their programs will be released later.

Kim will depart from Los Angeles, where she has been training, and arrive in Tokyo on March 20 to seek her second world championship. After the tournament, Kim will return home on March 28 to prepare for the ice show and help Pyeongchang County’s bid to host the 2018 Winter Olympics.
