“There is Someone behind Kim Sang-jin Gate”

As National Tax Service director Jeon Gun-pyo requested an investigation suspension regarding a bribe allegation of former commissioner of the Busan Regional Tax Office Jeong Sang-gon, the Grand National Party asked yesterday for Jeong to be summonsed for investigation, saying, “It is an apparent crime.”

GNP senior member Jeong Hyeong-geun said in a council meeting, “Concerning the gate of Kim Sang-jin, the bribe provider, it is widely known that a person known as Chae in Busan lobbied as a consultant with the backing of another.”

Rep. Jeong argued, “Asking for a suspension of the investigation also verifies that there is someone behind this gate.”
