Hostages Released

Three Korean female captives, Ahn Hye-jin, Lee Jeong-ran, and Han Ji-yeong, were freed on Wednesday after being held hostage in Afghanistan by Taliban militants. They were transported to a safe location by a Red Crescent vehicle. The Taliban agreed on Tuesday to release the hostages in face-to-face negotiations with the Korean government.
