After news broke that Korean hostages in Afghanistan are in poor health, three boxes of emergency medicines obtained in the country were delivered to the kidnappers via the Ghazni government on July 28. The chief negotiator from the Afghanistan government is making a phone call in front of the medicine box. On the box are names of the medicines inside written in Korean, including Piroxicam (an antiphlogistic), Tylenol (a painkiller), and eye lotion. Medicines and necessities from Korea also arrived in Afghanistan that day, which will soon be sent to the kidnappers as well.
