U.S. volcano Mount St. Helens, Washington is venting an enormous amount of steam and ash on the morning of October 5. The eruption started last Friday. Huge, towering dark gray clouds have shot up to more than 7,380 ft. It even sprinkled gray ash and grit on a town 40 km away. Mount St. Helens’s 1980 eruption killed 57 people.
