Placard War

At the opposite side of the Ipo Weir construction site in Yeoju County, Gyeonggi Province, occupied by employees of the Korea Federation for Environmental Movement Wednesday, residents supporting the Han River restoration project hang a placard. Environmental groups put up first a sign reading “Listen to the voice of the people,” with residents countering, “Outsiders should mind their own business.”
