Evander Holyfield of the U.S. (left), 48, launches a straight left at Francois Botha of South Africa, 42, in the sixth round of the World Boxing Federation heavyweight title fight Sunday at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Holyfield scored an eighth-round technical knockout to become the oldest man to win a heavyweight title. The record had belonged to George Foreman, who won both the World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation belts at the age of 45 in 1994.
