Six taekwondo stylists will compete in the mixed martial arts competition Musin at Seoul`s Jangchung Gymnasium Sunday.

Japan’s popular K-1 fighter Butterbean and other martial artists will also participate.

Oh Chang-jin, president of the competition’s host MXM, said, “Taekwondo is suitable for martial arts competitions. I hope spectators would see good performances by taekwondo stylists in the competition.”

Eighteen fighters will hold nine fights by weight. Interest is growing over how the taekwondo fighters will fare versus competitors specialized in other arts including karate and kickboxing.
