Empty Racks at Market

The deteriorating economy casts a dark and long shadow across the nation as the government announces yesterday the country`s worst economic growth since the Asian financial crisis about a decade ago. Wooden racks for carrying loads remained idle due to lack of customers at the open-air market of Dongdaemun in Seoul.
