Home of Soccer Star Ronaldinho Burglarized

Thieves have broken into the villa of AC Milan star Ronaldinho in Galliate Lombardo, Italy, making off jewelry and a large sum of cash, wire reports said yesterday.

Ronaldinho was not at home, having left for his Christmas break in his native Brazil.

Though the villa’s caretakers scuffled with the four thieves and rang the emergency alarm, all four escaped, according to the Italian daily Corriere della Sera.

The thieves stole mainly jewelry, watches and cash since Ronaldinho’s trophies and medals were left untouched in a cabinet.

The villa had been broken into twice before he took up residence there in 2005.
