March 4 witnessed a total lunar eclipse, the moon being engulfed in the earth’s shadow. The eclipse continued for six hours with the best views in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. It was not clearly seen in Asia, including Korea. This photo, taken in Nairobi, Kenya, vividly describes the sequence of the moon’s appearance.
