Korean Wins Human Rights Award

Dr. Kang Young-woo, a member of the U.S. National Council on Disability, was selected on May 1 as the winner of the Human Rights Award 2006 awarded by the Human Rights Commission of Fairfax County, Virginia.

“Kang gave hope to people with disabilities by standing up against discrimination, together with advocacy groups working for the rights of the disabled,” explained the commission.
