Sohan

January 5 was Sohan, one of the traditional Korean seasonal divisions that literally means “lesser cold.” All of Korea was hit by a cold spell that dropped temperatures in most regions to –10 degrees Celsius. This cold spell is forecasted to last until January 7. In the photo, a white tiger living in Everland, Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province walks on rock-hard ice.
