Gallery of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles Completes Renovation

The Gallery of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles reopened on December 19 after completing the first round of renovation which lasted 20 months. The second round of renovation is scheduled to start in February next year. The Gallery of Mirrors shows the culmination of splendor by dividing a wide room of 75m x 10m x 12m into 17 sections and decorating it with 578 mirrors. The Treaty of Versailles which ended World WarⅠ in 1919 was signed there.
