“Who will be our match?"

As the grouping for the 32 2006 World Cup Germany finalists has been confirmed, attention is turning to the final draw that will take place at the Neue Messe Exhibition center in Leipzig, Germany on December 10, starting from 04:15 a.m. Korean time.

The drawing ceremony will be attended by the distinguished commanders of the finalist teams. From South Korea, national coach Dick Advocaat and Kim Joo-sung, who played in the Bokum, Bundesliga, Germany in the 1990s, and who currently is the director of the international department at the Korea Football Association, will attend the ceremony.

Coaches of the finalists, including Guus Hiddink, the head of the Australian team, Germany’s coach Jurgen Klinsmann, England’s coach Sven-Goran Eriksson, Italy’s coach Marcello Lippi, Netherlands’ coach Marco van Basten, Japan’s coach Zico, and Portugal’s coach Luiz Felipe Scolari are also expected attend the group stage draw.

Franz Beckenbauer, head of the 2006 World Cup Organizing Committee, Brazilian soccer legend Pele, Lothar Matthäus (Germany), and Diego Maradona (Argentina), who have been selected as the drawing representatives for each continent, are also going to come together for the ceremony. This final draw will be broadcasted to over 145 countries in the world and is expected to draw more than 320 million viewers, its biggest audience in history.

Beckenbauer, head of the Organizing Committee, said, "I hope Germany doesn`t meet the Netherlands." and added, "Any team who beats Brazil will be the world`s champion."

South Korean football fans, the “Red Devils,” plan to gather at the Weight Lifting Arena in Seoul Olympic Park and hold an all-night event from December 9, at 10:00 p.m. to December 10 at 6:00 a.m. to wish for the best group composition.
