Red Squid in Abundance

A fisheries research ship unloads a catch of red squid at Busan’s Gamcheon Harbor yesterday. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries announced that it dispatched research boats to the open waters of the North Pacific, which it is developing as a new overseas fishing ground for Korea, over a period of 97 days and caught 166 tons of red squid, 24 percent more than expected.
