Heavy Rain Hits China

On June 25, people in the city of Wuzhou in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region of southern China, heavily affected by flooding, are fleeing to safety zone by boat. Heavy rains lasted for more than a week in the southern part of China, leaving about 730 people killed or missing and affecting tens of millions of people. The Chinese weather forecast authorities predict that the torrential rain will continue by the end of this month.
