Third Department of Special Investigation of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office, which is investigating the Korean National Railroad’s oil field investment case, has forbidden another five people from leaving the country, bringing the total to 12. Among these people are officials from the Korean National Railroad and Woori Bank, and Kwon Gwang-jin, a Cook Energy representative who first formulated the oil field development plan.

The prosecution has begun searching the institutions involved, such as the Korean National Railroad, Woori Bank, and Highend, which is run by Jeon Dae-wol, and tracking the bank accounts of the people involved.
