Starting next month, unlisted subsidiary companies of major enterprises holding assets of over two trillion won must report their major management activities, such as information on their largest stockholder and the current status of shares held by its company.

It is predicted that about 640 companies, including Samsung Everland, Samsung SDS, Rotem, Daimler Hyundai Truck Corporation, SK Shipping, SK Construction, LG CNS, and GS Mart will be the subjects of this requirement.

The Fair Trade Commission stated on Wednesday that regulation requiring unlisted subsidiary companies to announce their activities will be put into effect starting next month.
