A Village Swallowed by Tidal Wave

“How could it happen…?” Sri Lanka was the most seriously affected country by a severe earthquake that measured 9.0 on the Richter scale and tidal waves which slammed into Sumatra Island, Indonesia on December 26 as 5,000 people died and more than one million were affected. One victim by the seaside in the capital Colombo covers his face and grieves in front of his wrecked house.
