President Roh Invites Party Leaders to Dinner

President Roh Moo-hyun is reported to have invited leaders from five political parties, including the ruling party, to dinner at Cheong Wa Dae, and he will account for the results of his state visit to South America and the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit meeting on November 25.

Participants are National Assembly Speaker Kim Won-ki, Chief Justice Choi Jong-young, Prime Minister Lee Hae-chan, Uri Party Chairman Lee Bu-young, Grand National Party (GNP) leader Park Geun-hye, Democratic Labor Party (DLP) leader Kim Hye-kyung, Millennium Democratic Party (MDP) leader Han Hwa-kap, United Liberal Democrats leader Kim Hak-won, Uri Party floor leader Chun Jung-bae, and GNP floor leader Kim Deog-ryong.

In the meantime, President Roh, en route from Arturo Merino Benitez international airport in Santiago, Chile, arrived at Honolulu, Hawaii for a stopover visit on November 22 (Korean time).

On the morning of November 23, President Roh is scheduled to meet with Admiral Thomas Fargo, the commander of U.S. military forces and have a meeting with ethnic Koreans in Hawaii. The president is scheduled to arrive at Seoul Airport in Gyeonggi province on the afternoon of the day.
