“Delicious Azalea Flower Cake”

Children are making flower cakes with Azalea at the “Making Event of Flower Cake” at the National Folk Museum in Seoul on April 19, two days before Sam-jit-nal (the third day of the third lunar month). Sam-jit-nal is regarded as the day that swallows return from the southern part of the river. On that day, men shot arrows or played cock-fighting and women made flower cakes.
