What is the origin of the universe? How about the first birth year and birthplace of mankind? Established theory explains that the origin of the universe is the big bang, and Lucy, who left her bones in Africa about 6 million years ago, is the first ancestor of mankind. A link has been made between all creations, from the beginning of the world. The relationship between objects, phenomena and events is still in effect. The cause caused the result. The history of mankind illustrates this.
Stupid people, however, cut the links between cause and effect without discretion, taking good things for themselves and casting away bad things to others. This is similar to the debate on the impeachment. The appropriate attitude of democratic citizens is to follow the rules and actions set by the Constitutional Court. Who invoked the incident in the National Assembly? It is obvious which side is right.
The group of demonstrators is disturbing public opinion. Why do we elect congressmen, who are making laws, if each individual wants to participate in politics by forming an illegal group? Why do we want to be the majority group if we dont decide by majority? Every human being is somebodys ancestor and also somebodys descendant. There is no human being who has freed himself or herself from the link between birth and death. Currently, another kind of human being, who seems to free himself from the doomed linking, is being brought into the conversation. Even if he apologized immediately, the politician, who laughed at the votes of those in their sixties and seventies, looked like he was freeing himself from the link between birth, growth, disease, and death.
A flourishing society is a union which puts rights and obligations together. A deteriorating society occurs when right is separated from obligation. How about our current situation? We seem like we are looking at the arrival in Korea of people who evaded their responsibility to pay taxes and conduct an anti-government campaign. Due to a few corrupt people, the majority of the established generation, who worked hard and did their duty as citizens, is being threatened with removal from their stand. However, the predestined change of generations will also happen to the next generation. We can not simply hand over our stand in order to renovate the self-complacence and the prejudice of a junior priest, which insulted Kim Su-hwan, Cardinal and also a mentor of our generation.
