Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry won by a landslide in the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, maintaining his winning momentum carried over from Iowa on January 19.
Senator John Kerry won, receiving 38 percent of the votes, followed by former Vermont Governor Howard Dean who received 28 percent of the votes. Former NATO Commander Wesley Clark followed with 13 percent, and Senator John Edwards had 12 percent. Senator Joe Lieberman finished with nine percent of the vote.
Accordingly, a rivalry between Senator John Kerry and Dr. Howard Dean will grow hotter in the future Democratic primaries.
As Howard Dean gained new momentum, the primaries in seven states, including South Carolina on February 3, will decide who will become the next Democratic presidential nominee.
