"TV, Internet and Telephone Operated by Speaking in the Car "

From next year, drivers will be able to operate TV and telephone by speaking and hear the e-mail in a voice while driving.

Hyundai Mobis announced on September 30, “We developed ‘Exride’, the high performance telematics terminal which can operate the audio, video, navigation, internet and mobile location through simple voice command, and will launch the product in the early months of the year. This product developed with 5 billion won of investment for 2 years by Hyundai Mobis is ‘Single Unit Auto PC’ which integrates 20 functions and operate simply by 200 voice commands.

Hyundai Mobis plans to launch 2 products for over 5t truck and motorcar’s after market and provide the plentiful information connecting with the information center. The one for motorcar’s after market is priced at 1 million won ∼2 million won. Customers will be able to purchase it in stores of Hyundai Mobis such as Motor Plus from in the early months of the year.

Hyundai Mobis plans to supply OEM type to the motorcar produced by Hyundai Motor, by developing the low priced ‘Economy Terminal’ by 2004.
