Hiddink Smiles at Opening Game

Director Guus Hiddink (56) smiled as PSV Eindhoven won seasonal opening game first since having come back Netherlands.

In 2002-2003 First Holland League on 18th in Rotterdame, Eindhoven defeated Excelsior Retterdame with the score of 2-0 by Arnold Bruggink and Mark van Bommel’s consecutive goals. Excelsior Retterdame made its debut in the first league from the second league this year.

Hiddink has suffered from may difficulties, on 12th Hiddink was defeated by Ajax Amsterdam which was last year’s champion with the score of 1-3, and threatened by Feyenoord hooligan.

On interview after the game, Hiddink Talked ‘I am very happy to win the game, but I feel sorry for missing three or four good chances.”

Feyenoord for which Song Jong-kook will play has a game against NEC on 19th.
