Lee Young-hee Appear in EBS ‘Meet Intellectuals’

After years of struggle with his illness, veteran journalist Lee Young-hee will appear in EBS program ‘Meet Intellectuals’ scheduled to be aired on the evening of September 20. The 73-year-old journalist fell ill in late 2000 after a stroke, but now he has almost recovered.

During the 40 minute-long-discussion, he presented his ideas about the reunification, role of journalists and critical thinking in the 21st century.

Lee has criticized the cold-war and divisional ideology in his books such as ‘Worship and Rationalism,’ ‘Beyond the Division’ and ‘Birds Fly with Both Wings’ after publishing his first work ‘Logical Thinking in Transitional Period’ in 1974.
