Business Trip in Foreign Countries – Formulating the Business Plan Is a Vacances

Such the head of conglomerate, business leaders hardly enjoy their summer vacation. Many of businessmen don’t take a special vacation, but are currently spending a lot of time in going abroad on a business trip and planning the plan for the second half of the year.

According to economical circles on July 7, Lee Geon-Hee, the president of Samsung, plan to meet the economic and academic acquaintances of Japan after going to Japan on the business trip late in July. Then, he will visualize the business plan for the second half of the year when he returns to the country.

Mr. Lee plans not only to discuss the economic trend of US and South America and preparation for the economic crisis with Japanese personage but also to look to the future preparation after 5~10 years for Japanese companies.

Ku, Bon-Mu, the president of LG will find out the plan to fulfill the best LG while staying at home for 1 week at the end of the month or in the beginning of the next month.

Son, Gil-Seung, the president of SK doesn’t have any vacation plan except participating in the summer seminar for CEO of the Federation of Korean Industries(KFI) in Jejudo Shilla Hotel from July 24 to July 27. Choi, Tae-Won, the president of SK will execute the business activities as usual without special vacation plan.

Jeong, Mong-Gu, the president of Hyundai Motor hasn’t made any summer vacation plan. Kim, Seung-Yeon, the president of Hanwha plans to the pending problems of the company staying in Korea without vacation.

Kim, Gak-Jung (president of the federation of Korean industries) and Park Yong-Seong (president of Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry) don’t have the special vacation plan except participating in the seminar in Jejudo to be held by each economic organization.

On the other hand, Lee Ung-Ryeol, the president of KOLON plans to take the summer vacation with his family in Yongpyeong, Gangwon-do from August 9 to August 14. Yu Sang-Bu, the president of POSCO will have the vacation early in August.

Kim Jae-Cheol, the president of Korea International Trade Association will formulate the plan vacationing in Yongpyeong from August 1 to August 3.
