Attract the Votes at the Korea-Poland Match

On 4th, when the World Cup match between Korea and Poland took place, candidates of the local election took part of the cheering to attract the votes of soccer fans. The candidates appeared on the site where the large screens were installed, and participated in the cheering and drew the attentions of voters simultaneously.

Since the youngsters gather at the cheering site, the campaigners were wearing the national uniform or the `Red Devils` T-shirts.

Myungbak Lee, the Grand National Party`s candidate for the Mayor of Seoul came to the Jamsil baseball stadium with Chungwon Seo, wearing the national uniform. Minseok Kim, the Millennium Democratic Party`s candidate for the Mayor of Seoul, appeared at Daehak-ro where the Red Devils were cheering the match. Also Hwagab Hahn representative watched the match at the riverbank of Hahn, where a large screen was set up.

In Busan where the match took place, Sangyoung Ahn of Grand National Party, Eahun Hahn of the Millennium Democratic Party were at the Haeundae and Busan station respectively, with each party`s candidates for the president.

Hakgyu Sohn, the Grand National Party`s candidate for the governor of Kyunggi province, went to the Jungang park where people were watching and cheering the match, after the campaign at Bundang, and Nyum Jin, the Millennium Democratic Party`s candidate were with the people watching the match at the Mansuk part in Suwon.

Sangsu Ahn (Grand National Party), Sangeun Park (Millennium Democratic Party) candidates for the mayor of Incheon, were both present at the World Cup Plaza next to the Stadium.

Kyunggyun Na (Grand National Party), Hyunwook Kang (Millennium Democratic Party) Juhang Sohn (Independent) candidates for the governor of Jeonbuk province were watching the match together in front on a hotel in Jungangdong.

Wonjong Lee (Grand National Party) and Cheonseo Ku (Liberal Democratic Confederation), candidates for the governor of Chungbuk province were with 3000 citizens at Chungbuk University in Chungju city. Daepyung Sim (Liberal Democratic Confederation) and Jongpil Kim, the president of the party were at Cheonan bus terminal.

Haenyung Cho (Grand National Party) and Jaeyoung Lee (independent) candidates for the mayor of Daegu appeared at the `National Debt Requital Memorial Park` in the Dongindong, Daegu. Eugun Lee (Grand National Party), the candidate for the governor of Kyungbuk province watch the match on the TV, with his campaigners Younggun Cho (independent), a candidate for the governor of Kyungbuk province has watched and cheered the match with the citizens of Pohang.
