`Virtual Private Network` Service Provided for Companies

KT (Korea Telecom, previously the Korea Telecommunications Authority) declared on April 7 that it would start `mobile Virtual Private Network (VPN)` business for corporate customers with its affiliate mobile phone company KTF and an information security specialized company Future Systems.

This is a `Mobile Office` service, processing various computational needs of companies by connecting to in-house Intranet from outside with personal portable information terminals (PDA) or notebook computers. KT explained that companies can utilize mobile phone network of KTF, Internet lines of KT, or Security Software (SecuPDAn) of Future Systems to safely connect to the companies` network whenever and wherever they want.
