Raising a suspicion of political fund transaction, the Grand National Party urged Kim Hong-Up to appear voluntarily in the Special Prosecution while the New Millennium Democratic Party requested for the parliamentary inspection on the suspicions about the transference of Gahoi-dong villa where Lee Hoi-Chang lives in.

With regard to the suspicion on the fund management of Kim Sung-Hwan, a friend of Kim Hong-Up, Nam Kyung-Pil, the spokesperson of GNP, insisted that “Hong-Up must appear in the Special Prosecution after resigning from the vice chairperson of KDJPF.”

He also said, “if there truly existed hidden accounts for the transaction between the two persons, the explanation of Hong-Up that he borrowed 100 million won from Kim Sung-Hwan for the operation expenses of the Foundation would turn out to be a lie. Is KDJPF a private safe of the DJ family?”

Lee Jae-Oh, the floor leader of GNP, also said, “President Kim must close the KDJPF immediately and order the Prosecutor`s investigation and the tax probe.”

Meanwhile, Lee Nak-Yeon, the spokesperson of NMDP, stated that“Mr. Lee Hoi-Chang has kept silent in terms of the suspicions related with the Gahoi-dong villa 302 and failed to provide a contract on villa 202 and the contractor. Is it because he is afraid that his violation of political fund law or tax evasion would be disclosed? ”

Kim Hyun-Mee, vice spokesperson of NMDP, argued that “the villa that Mr. Lee lives seems like a house that his father in law bought for him, considering that he did not buy a house even though he had cash over 600 million won at the end of last year according to his property report.”
