Government Plans to Control Public Institutions` Illegal Mobilization of Manpower and Resources`

The audit and inspection authorities decided yesterday that they will intensively control public institutions` illegal mobilization of manpower and resources for interest groups and the heads of the institutions` private purposes.

A government official said, "Recently, it was revealed that national security agencies, including the National Intelligence Service, the Navy, and the Maritime Police, have been involved in a private company`s treasure hunt project, and there might be similar cases. The government should inspect its branch organizations in order to tighten discipline and recover the people`s trust."

Thus, the government will intensively examine the government agencies` illegal mobilization of manpower and materials through the joint inspection team and the branch inspection teams. And it will inflict severe punishment on persons who requested illegal mobilization or responded to an illegal request with a charge of misfeasance.
