Chinese Communist party has sent a telegram of good wishes to Taiwan`s Nationalist party, celebrating the national party convention. Sending the celebrating message, Chinese Communist party said, ``We (Chinese Communist Party) hope that Taiwan`s Nationalist Party would be against the independence of Taiwan and contribute to world peace, following the Chinese principle.``

Taiwan`s Nationalist Party, who lost the power at the presidential election despite the fact that they gained 113 chairs out of 219 chairs, held a national party convention in Taowian (a southern area of Taipei), making a fresh resolution to gain the power through the reform and renewal of the party.

The leader of Taiwan`s Nationalist Party insisted, ``the ruling party, Minjin Party, should build and fortify a good relationship with China like the Nationalist Party who accepts the principle of `one China` with a condition that each of us has a right to interpret the principle on their own.``

Hong Kong media resources interpreted this exceptional congratulatory telegram as a gesture expressing the wish of Communist Party: a joint work for peaceful union of Taiwan and China (if the Nationalist Party become a ruling party.)

The Chinese Communist Party had had two joint works with the Taiwanese National Party: the first in 1924-27 and the second in 1937-45. After these two joint works, the Communist Party had suggested the third joint work in 1981 for union of Taiwan and China, saying that they will assure a high degree of autonomy of Taiwan; however it failed. China also had sent a congratulatory message to Lee Dung-Fui when he was elected as a leader of Taiwanese National Party, however he became one of powerful figures who advocate the independence of Taiwan.
