Grand Opening Confederation Cup

The 2001 Confederation Cup which can be called the rehearsal of the 2002 World Cup, raised its curtain with the opening game between Korea and France at the Daegu World Cup Stadium.

In this competition, eight countries from each continent including Korea and Japan, the joint hosts of the 2002 World Cup, will participate and have heated tournaments until June 10.
