Samsung Electronics Co.(SEC) announced yesterday that the company began to aggressively advertise its `thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD)` to promote it as one of the three major IT brands in the world. Samsung is aiming to inscribe `Wiseview` on widely used laptop computers and LCD TVs.
Samsung is confidant in its technology to give its trademark to computer parts and to advertise its products aggressively. Samsung shares 20.1 percent of world LCD market. Based on its market share, the company established a sales war strategy with the arms of various models from 2 to 30 inches.
Samsung will pay millions of dollars for its aggressive advertisement this year and will also participate in the international expositions.
